About Us
Our purpose, our people
  • Conflict To Peace (formerly Conflict Resolution and Conciliation Services) is a nondenominational peacemaking ministry. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit program of a Virginia Corporation and supported by modest fees and tax-deductible contributions from individuals, firms, churches and other charitable organizations.
  • Our services often involve a team of mediators drawn from lawyers, counselors, dispute
resolution specialists and clergy to meet with and assist people in conflict. For disputes involving domestic relations (i.e. custody, separation or divorce) the team is always made up of a man and a woman.
  • We are guided by a Board of Directors and Advisory Board of respected attorneys, conflict resolution professionals, justice professionals and others with a heart for peace.
  • We subscribe to the Institute for Christian Conciliation's Standards of Conduct for Certified Christian Conciliators as well as the Judicial Council of Virginia's Standards of Ethics and Professional Responsibility for Certified Mediators.

Our qualifications include:

  • Certified Family Mediator – Virginia Circuit and Domestic Relations Courts
  • Certified Civil Mediator – Virginia Circuit and General District Courts
  • Mentor / Instructor – Virginia Court Certification Training
  • Certified Christian Conciliator – Institute for Christian Conciliation
  • Mentor / Instructor – Institute for Christian Conciliation Certification Training
